This video takes me back to 1980. Perfect weather, mill pond flat seas , great scenery, but there are more restaurant's now, and mooring balls did not exist. It was anchor and a line around a rock or a tree, for all the little yachts.

Hi Richard, some things have changed over the last 40 years, but the warm welcome and hospitality of the Turks is still the same.
@richarddickson32115 жыл бұрын
@@SailingABSea was the same back then, with the odd exception. There were loads of flotilla fleets around then sailing Trapper 27 s . Company went bust years ago. Crewed mainly by beginners, it was a national sport watching them moor up! Much mirth and damage!😂😉

I was 18 and working as a cashier in a UK bank. I was also studying banking exams to climb the corporate banking ladder, (so was Aannsha). Secretly I was planning my escape from it all. The following year we both packed it all in and drove to the south of France where I was a DJ and Aannsha painted paintings to sell to the tourists.

KOY means " little bay" and when you add little dots over the letter "o", it becomes KÖY and that means "village" anything smaller than "koy" is a "bük" You will hear these names pretty often as you sail along the west and south coast of Turkey. Enough with the lecturing. I have been following your videos from the beginning, you have come a long way. Great job. I certainly, appreciate your contribution in promoting the beauty of my country. Perfect ambassadors. Thank you very much and good luck with the rest of your journey.

Once again loved your video, I just wish they were longer, it was ok when I had loads to watch, I was able to really get into them and be at these places, but a few minutes is not enough time for my imagination to get going. 🤷♀️ I think I will have to save them up, then watch. You guys are living your best lives, fantastic! Happy sailing.

Hi Lynne. One of the channels did a survey a couple of years ago. Result was viewers thought around 16 minutes was a good length for each video. Regards, John. NZ.

Hi Lynne, we'd have to second what John says. We asked our viewers a while ago how long they wanted our videos to be and the general agreement was between 15 and 20 mins. But sometimes they're a little shorter or longer, it all depends on the story being told.
