So I talked to a guy who had a CB750 Honda street bike inline 4 cylinder engine (about 80 horsepower) on a XL650 Honda enduro. He removed the single cylinder engine (about 50 horsepower) and put the inline 4 on there. It looked totally factory, the frame was barely modified, because the 650 single engine is massive, and so the bike fit the 4 cylinder engine without much trouble. It had a 4 into 1 muffler that looked basically stock. It was very practical, and basically a match made in heaven. I cannot understand why the manufacturers haven't made more 2 or 4 cylinder enduro's here in America. An inline 4 is far superior to a V-Twin or a Single.

The hardest thing about riding something like this in the woods would be the steering and the gearing. Sport bikes can't maneuver well in tight quarters. That rider is incredibly talented. Unless he changed the gearing, it would be hard to ride slow enough since it can do 100+ in first gear. Great for sand and open areas though.

if you can ride a 100 cc good you can ride this as well maybe not like a lunatic - bike ridin maniac you can ride it I owned a 78 ty 175 top speed 60 mph the next bike I rode was a xl 185 even more gut less and just as slow top speed well maybe couple mph faster but the next bike I rode was a old katana 1000 I think it was 1980-81-82 something like that either way it was a very easy bike to ride I was little scared at fast more intimidated than anything just feel the weight all you have to do like all bikes is hold it up straight and away you go I couldn't believe again how not much different at all it was except for the power of course the weight you really don't feel it until maybe you drop it and have to pick it up you could sputter around in 3rd gear or 4th doin say 90 klm and just roll the throttle power was always there ready you don't have to ride it hard like I thought not at all I really seen why at that point why people do buy them now the fzr 1000 the blue model was tall geared you had to say keep rev higher be going at a good speed in each gear you couldn't ride it like the katana 1000 period that bike was geared much lower well normal gearing I would say not high like fzr 1000 r it would just start chattering the chain rattling it felt like you had to ride it harder threw each and every gear - I rode the bike and I was always in 1st - 2nd gears in the city maybe 3rd but of course I was speeding way over limit it wanted to go fast
