Bruce lee is the real deal, and the best and fastest martial artist that ever lived on the planet. Everything said about his fighting skills are 100% true, he was in unreal shape and cold do the 1" punch, and invented Jeet Kune Do, the way of the intercepting fist. Everything you see in his movies he can do for real. He was the Best and always will be remembered as the best that ever lived. It was devastating when he died at 33 years old at such a young age and how he died. Then later on when his son was in movies an accident took his life as well. Doesn't seem natural now does it.

I always like the story by Herb Jackson, a friend and student of Bruce Lee's. Jackson was one of the guys who welded and made equipment such as punching/ kicking pads and bags, etc. for Bruce to train on. He always said Bruce kept breaking the heavy duty equipment with his extreme power. Anyway, his story was about the time some guy trespassed on Bruce's private property, his back yard, and challenged him to a fight. Bruce was poppin' mad and dispatched the challenger quickly. Herb said that Bruce later told him that it was the hardest kick he ever gave a man. (Glad I wasn't the one on the receiving end.) I think it was Jackie Chan who said getting kicked by Bruce Lee was like getting hit by a car. Based on the many corroborating accounts by witnesses, I would say Chan's description was quite correct.
@jayquanvo51345 жыл бұрын
Oh wow! I heard this story but I had no idea it was Lam Ching Ying! So many HK actors/martial artists/stuntmen of that era all say the same thing about him. - Power, Strength, Speed and athleticism. - His superhuman efficiency in disposing his opponent - Work ethic on film - Obsessive Work ethic on training his martial arts and his body - His equal treatment, charitable nature and genuine demeanour towards people no matter what race/ethnicity/status. - How anyone’s doubt & disdain for Bruce would immediately be turned into respect & admiration upon meeting & interacting with him. Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung, Yuen Wah, Corey Yuen, Max Lee, Tony Liu, Lau Kar Leung.etc. Those people are some of the most dedicated, acrobatically/martially skilled, knowledgable, experienced, hardworking, risk taking, self sacrificing, physically creative people ever to work in action/martial art cinema. Yet they still recognise and continue to recognise that there was a person as special and unique in their midst, in their time, that would lead the way for not only their generation but future generations to come.
