As a staunch child free by choice femme, it’s beyond tiring of the moms who make birth and their children their personalities and claim it’s the most beautiful and connected experience and that I’ll “regret” not having kids. I don’t need other people, let alone having them, to make me happy. I’ve seen women swollen in the ankles, enlarged noses, hair/tooth loss and many other things that make the pregnancy and birth not worth it for me. I’m not convinced. I’ve HAD IT!!!

I have 2 boys and though I wouldn't change it for the world, the mom guilt I wrestle with can be overwhelming. I never feel like I get it right so that's one more heartache you are saving yourself from. I support your choice ❤

Being pregnant sounds horrible and dangerous. Your body changes forever. Also, adoption is actually cheaper than giving birth in the states. Of course, having any kids is expensive. Growing up with no money with definitely convince one not to have kids and convince people to be pickier when choosing a partner to not be stuck. I’d rather travel and spend time with people who like me and who I like, than to have kids and be stuck in a loveless marriage with a bland dude.
@OscarLangleySoryu

@@JDMimeTHEFIRSTdomestic adoption can be a lot more difficult to complete than foreign adoption, so I think you’re probably wrong there because foreign adoptions might be more common and they’re def more costly.

@xVibra

They really didn't have parents who said, "When are you having my grandbabies?" "Isn't it time you settled down and found someone to be happy with, and started a family?" So many pseudo sociologists say men who are single are considered unfuckable man children, and they think women who are single are in a coven and don't shave their legs. It's the most unbecoming, yet very common, thing to be a single adult with no kids to them. Any couple without kids is told that they're selfish, they're guilted into adopting a child in need, or they lack religious integrity since children are apparently the only vehicle for spreading religious views. I think it reveals a lot that they think people need to have kids, because it shows their own hubris and godlike complex. Dictating what someone does is the epitome of glory to them, and they breed this fake competition of parenthood with people they don't know to masturbate how better off they are than others.
@JDMimeTHEFIRST

Some states are literally outlawing women owning their own bodies so yes, pure discrimination and forced child birth. It’s sick. Also, parents just call out sick all the time. I literally get people with kids actually hating me because I need medical surgery. Your now allowed to take vacation, be asked about your life, or call out sick if you don’t have kids. AND single people have to pay full price for everything (hotels, cars, homes, bills, etc). No one to split anything with.

BROOO parents shit on non parents all the time. I see so much hate from parents online toward those of us who don’t have kids literally asking us what’s wrong with us as humans if we don’t want kids that I just assume these parents are so stressed and regretting their decisions. Parents are vicious as hell, especially new parents. And yeah, the parent culture of everything being picture perfect is super hard for new moms or moms who are struggling with being a parent.

Abortion is also about capitalism. 1.) They (rich ppl/CEOs) are anxious they won't have enough able bodied workers; 2.) Companies that get contracts from the states to "care for" foster children and essentially earn a commission on every child they take in lobby very hard for these abortion bans - they then maximize profit by neglecting to do more than keep them alive and usually abuse them as well; 3.) While this point/reason is also religious it intersects capital/econ: men want to push back on the progress of women in the workforce who they have increasingly started to view as competition

True! Capitalism is only about the short term, therefore the contradictions that arise, are from its designed function to not look into the future and about those people that are going to be there! Only thing it (capitalism) can distinguish is: What it has and What others don’t!

The explicit language here is refreshing when most content creators really coach themselves not to get flagged by KZbin. Fuck em.
