Hi Kevin there is another smoking area down past gate 1 that over looks the runway, as you come out of duty free turn left and it down on the right hand side. Loved this trips videos

Nice to watch a video with someone talking normally, these vids are usually accompanied by an annoying, patronising english accent ( and I'm english )😮...go to lanzarote twice a year, so it was great to watch....👍👏....bring picky, you said to sit on the right, coming in to land... much better on the left, as you go right along the coast of Puerto del Carmen, just before touchdown...brilliant views...top video commentary too👍

You fail to mention a number of issues. Lanzarote is experiencing saturation from tourists, so much so that the Spanish government is considering imposing restrictions. The island infrastructure cannot cope with over influx of visitors. The airport was not built to cope with the number of flights that it currently handles. The sewage system on the island was not built to manage the number of properties that have been built. My understanding is that restriction's will be put in place by the Spanish government from summer 2025. Hope this is helpful to potential tourists.
