Love this but I can’t track how you pick/strum through the F chord during the verses. Any tabs or help is appreciated.
@RexRichardsMusic5 ай бұрын
I’ll give it a shot. I think you’re talking about the transition from the C to the F and back to C (like at 0:09 ). So from the C shape I walk to F with an open 4th string, to second fret 4th string, then third fret 4th string. Then immediately an open 3rd string / hammer on 2nd fret 3rd string. Then immediately back to the C shape with 3rd fret 5th string, to open 4th String/hammer on 4th string 2nd fret. It’s just a quick slip in and out of the F shape.

Really enjoy your content and tutorials I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on the mountain by Steve earl. Thank you keep it up!
@RexRichardsMusic4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Scoob! :) There's a good chord sheet with lyrics done by ledhead25 on Ultimate-Guitar here: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/steve-earle/the-mountain-chords-960058 . If you copy and paste that link, it should jump right to it. If it doesn't, or it doesn't sound right to you, you can just go to the main ultimate guitar website and type in "The Mountain" and look at all the different versions, or play around with different keys (with a capo, tuning, or transposing the chords). The strumming pattern is important, and there's a little diagram at the top of the sheet that is down, down, up-down, up. My mind goes to a "waltzy" style when I play this song. The album version of this song is fantastic (obviously...it's Steve Earle), but the mandolin and banjo accompaniment with the guitar really fills it out. I don't know your skill level, but once you get the chords and pattern down, you can play around with hammers and pull offs to spice it up a bit. I will try to get a version of this song, but I got to tell y'all, I've got some major house projects going on and it will be a while before I can get back to recording, but wanted to at least point you in a direction that might help.

Fantastic cover. I have a request if it isn't too much. Could you do a break down of Colter Wall's version of I Ride an Old Paint?

Thanks. I Ride An Old Paint is on the list.

Thanks for posting! If you have a second, I recorded a cover of Jason Isbell. As a fellow music lover, I'd love if you'd take a listen. It's on my page. Hope you like it!
