What an episode! I was present in the Joe Harry Freeman Coliseum the night Ultimate Warrior clashed with Macho Savage in the big blue cage. Climax: Savage and Sherri climb the cage, savage gets pulled down, bare-Assed back in the ring, as warrior pulled his tights down, huge Pop! But, as Warrior pulled down Sherri on the outside, her garment gave way to bedazzled lingerie! Loudest pop I’ve ever experienced live! I was 8-9 years old! Tip of the hat to Sherri, she sold the moments a lot of us remember

Sherri was prominent in wrestling during my childhood, having won the WWF World Women's Title shortly before I started watching in early 1988 and managing Randy Savage in 1989 and 90. Sherri was an amazing performer, and one of my favorite childhood memories. I'm not sure there wasn't much she wouldn't do in the wrestling business, from wrestling to taking bumps for Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels...and having heard a couple of her shoot interviews, she seemed like a tough but sweet lady.

While WWE loves to shove Becky Lynch down our throats as being "The Man" (SMDH......,) I think Sherri Martel (and possibly Miss Jackie as well) are the only female wrestlers that moniker would be _believable_ simply because they commanded so much respect from the men and the women. In real-life while being absolute sweethearts and very attractive would just assume beat the living shyt out of any woman or MAN that got out of line. No one wanted to mess with either of them. Pretty disappointing one. I was really looking forward to this but towards the end they literally just skipped past things. No discussion about Sherri taking the mirror shot, what was the long term plan for Sherri & Marty? How did Luna come into play? Did they get along? What where the house show matches like? Was there a planned mixed tag with Tatanka & Sherri vs Luna & Bam Bam? Any talks of ever bringing her back? I feel like end of her run was totally glossed over

Honestly? I think they phone it in half the time now. I have noticed in past, certain things like that are glossed over seemingly randomly, and I wouldn't say just on this show either. Not like it used to be.

ajk that’s because McMahon needs him to do his real job and not sit there and talk for 2 hours for a podcast
