I personally love the look of patent brogues / oxfords with a nice suit + pants at the work place. I find it super empowering and sophisticated :) or if you prefer flats, i'd suggest getting something patent with a pointed toe, it really elongates your legs / makes you look taller, with a nice collared shirt, and skirt + matching jacket, looks awesome!

I love the edgy classic look, but Laurens take is not enough "classic" for my taste. Check out Letizia from Spain, now that is a really great and tasteful, grown-up version of "edgy classic". Love it, and it is much more sophisticated than those very ripped jeans and see-through blouses!! Lauren, love your videos anyway!

I'm a year late, but better late than never I guess! Edgy Classic is closest to my style, for the most part. BUT, I will NEVER wear high waisted jeans!!! I'm lucky to be thin and in pretty good shape, and I'm proud of my flat and toned, stretch mark free abs...especially since I'm recently divorced. I still run some of my outfits by my ex-husband, before I go out, to get a man's opinion. He has a good style sense, and I can trust him to be perfectly (brutally) honest! LOL I find the cutest crop tops but won't wear them without a cami or something under them, so I (usually) refrain from buying them. Other than the high waisted jeans, I loved the outfits, especially yours (sans so many rips in the jeans for ME)! I'm loving this series so I hope you do another version of it soon!

Marti Brown I thought the same about high waisted jeans for a long time but they look especially flattering on thin ladys with a toned stomach. I noticed that I got more compliments on the outfits i incorporated my high waisted jeans. Mine are in an olive green. So maybe you should give them a chance😊

I felt like my hips looked bigger and my saddlebags were screaming "look at me!" and I'm not overweight (5'4" 114lbs). I'm sort of lucky, in a way, to live in a state that's WAY behind trend (Oklahoma). So I'll keep rocking my Rock Revival skinny jeans until I find the perfect pair of high waisted jeans! I am a very edgy person and not a lot of people know. An easy outfit is: Top: white or black top (doesn't matter if long sleeve or short or tank top) Bottoms: green or blue or black jeans that are cropped Shoes: adidas Extra: a button up (preferred to be white or black)

Sis, that isn’t edgy, that’s casual and classy stuff. If you want to achieve edge, use a lot of rips, safety pins, studs, belts, boots, oversized clothes, hoodies, bracelets, necklaces, and just a whole lot of black with possible splotches of neon or bright accessories

Zuza Hicks - Have you complained about the leather bags, shoes, and apparel? I understand that someone might have an ethical issue with the consumption of meat and the use of leather, but to focus on only one item seems doesn’t make sense. Either go all in, or borrow an approach from traditional Native American philosophy: honor the animal that nourished you by making sure that none of it is discarded, that all of it is used for something.
