I think AI has a long way to go in doing something other than giving us prompts. Human eye and touch is better. Outfit 1 definitely had issues

Mia Maples did a video using an AI app to style her using the items in her wardrobe. It was quite interesting. I’d like to see you use that app and see what you get. However, you do have to photograph every piece of your wardrobe into the app so it does take some time…..

This was fun ☺️ I'll try it, too - mostly for fun as well. AI has a long way to go but still it's something else to try. I think outfit 3 was probably the best.

I believe ai already does this if you use a wardrobe app. They offer styles based on what you already own. The app I use isn’t very good at putting outfits together, but that might just be the particular app I use

This was an interesting and fun topic for a video! I thought the AI outfit suggestions got better as the week progressed. As you say Sarah, still missing the discerning eye and suggestions of a trained stylist that can elevate an outfit. Hmm, maybe if the day comes and we all have robots in our home?

I also think AI is only a reference tool which one can use in styling. As we know, styling is about the complete package from human emotions, dressing for occasions and skin undertone, cultural diversity and attitudes. There is a hell lot of factors involved which a machine like AI cannot yet imitate successfully. Human input will be here for some time maybe 5 years but definitely not 10 because AI is improving all the time. Maybe we will see you cloned by AI giving us tips.😂

I think, in order for this to work, you would not only data on weather on temerature and what you would be doing each day (that too is a factor in what you are wearing). You would have to catalogue your whole wardarobe so the AI does know what it can work with. But yes, the results are very mixed to say the least, meaning it is not really consitent.

Hmm yeah you're safe in your job! There were moments of genius and moments of madness, mainly because, as you pointed out, AI wasn't giving all the tweaks or styling skills which a human can teach. It also can't give reassurance to a total beginner. But what it can do is give new ideas to someone who does have basic skills and a bit of confidence but who is feeling bored.
