Another transformation well done ✅👍🏻💯 The talent in your family is amazing. Married 49 years, & we've moved 13 x. We owned 2 of the homes. My husband was hospitalized with dead kidneys unknown to him. Several years of dialysis, he received a transplant, 16 years ago. Found out our emplyer hadn't paid our payroll deducted Insurance in 2 YEARS! We had to file bankruptcy, but lost our home to foreclosure. With each rental, I made them a home like you do. Friends called me crazy. We would fix up everything, shopping at thrift, & restore places. Unfortunately, it resulted in a few Landlords raising our rent because of OUR improvements! I never regretted it. The old saying, "Bloom where you're planted" comes to mind. I enjoy your family so much. I pray for the kids and their futures. So proud of Mike for conquering a new Career. Thank you Knorpp Family.

Looks GREAT! A recommendation just to finish it off...Create a hearth (base) out of a piece of plywood cut to the outside shape of the entire fireplace, but larger, and paint it the same as the inside-back of the fireplace. Sit the entire fireplace on top of the homemade hearth. This would add scale around the base of the fireplace and add height which would hide the additional exposed TV wires, and the entire ensemble wouldn't appear as if it's just sitting on the floor but is actually part of the house. LOVE your videos!

Well done! I'm a thrifter as well, and understand how the renewal process can go in bits and stages, but your finished project here is so charming and inviting, it makes me want to knock on the door and come in to sit a bit and enjoy a little visit! There's only one thing, though, that my eyes keep going back to over and over, and its a very easy fix! It's the cords coming down this way and that way under the TV screen. How about going out and snipping just a couple or 3 more of the beautiful bush branches and stick them in front of the cords! Snip... poke... done!!! Thanks for another great video! Looking forward to the next one!

I don’t know if you read my last comment I left on another video. To fix the top of your table without doing anything is just lay newspaper on the table and leave it be until the water marks are gone. It should work. A trick from the past.

A much easier way is to put a folded tea towel over the water marks and iron over it (steam off) it lifts water marks out of timber in a few seconds without damaging the timber

Megan I love my unfinished basement, we are in north ga, for the same reason you just spoke about. Only thing is since there isn’t heat or air conditioning wood and any breathable surface, ie paintings and soft furnishings can mold and mildew… get a really good dehumidifier and set it up m]by the heater and air conditioning unit so it can drain into their drain so you don’t have to empty it every 12 to 24 hours… it will save everything from molding… especially in summer when it’s hot and like you said smells of earth… that’s the humidity stuck in the air… hence the dehumidifier! Love the mantle!

I have used it on a wall before, it peeled. I used wallpaper paste put it on paper, and a thin coat on wall and rubbed it down with hands. Checking every ten minutes or so. Rubbing with hands to wall. Stayed and had a hard time taking it off. Had to score it then pray with vinegar and water then peel off. Works great. I used in kitchen as back splash and stayed on for nine years. By then looked terrible in spots because I hung pictures and faded a bit.
