Bluefield, West Virginia is on I-77 West Virginia Turnpike. Drove past it numerous to Camp LeJeune from Charleston, West Virginia my hometown.

As a fellow West Virginian, I love the line about being born in a theater in Bluefield, WV. Not sure if the writers are from the "Mountain State" or if it just fit the cadence of the song. Either way, it's so arbitrary it makes me smile every time I hear it! 😊

I’ve seen this before with other vocal groups/bands in live performances. Depending on the length of the broadcast spot or the concert set. A musician mentor told me when I asked ( we were watching a Johnny “Guitar” Watson show) that the speed-up and/or shortening of songs allows the placement of one or two more cuts in the set. I agree with everyone here who mentioned it. It’s jarring as the song is perfect as is. 🤷🏾‍♀️
