This performance is a banger live!! Saw them in vegas and everyone went nuts on this performance. Apparently Tom Morello has been wanting to do a collaboration for years. They gave him full creative space on this & as expected another brilliant BM track is the result. Next up will likely be Kingslayer with Bring Me The Horizon in Vegas. Which if their Japan performance is any indication will be just as epic!! Adding Kabuki into the story here was brilliant as Momoko used to perform Kabuki Theatre growing up. Nice reaction. :)

Great reaction. I don't know if you're aware, but Babymetal recently released an offical live recording of this song. You should check it out as it's also a lot of fun to watch live, plus you even get a surprise growl from Momometal!

Lol. Why would you show the MV and not the new live concert performance, official video, which everyone agrees is the much much better version? Unbelievable. Duh.

Imo certainly not BM's best song, even a pretty bad one. But hey, don't let us discuss about personal tastes.
@jeremyboynowski37849 ай бұрын
Personally I like it a lot, especially live in concert. It's a lot of fun live. Again though as you mentioned, personal tastes. Personally for me, I'd say Oh Majinai is probably my least favorite Babymetal song and if you were to have me choose from their newest stuff then I'd probably have to say Metalizm.
@imrekalman90449 ай бұрын
It's a simple song, and I'm sure it is fun live after a few beers, with all the positive atmosphere around. Catchy tune, Suzuka's raw vocals, shamisen, Momo gets some love, ticks all the boxes. Then it becomes repetitive, without the usual versatility of BM songs. I also found Mr. Morello's contribution quite underwhelming, and so did the song as a whole. Oh well, there are dozens of BM songs I love dearly, so I'm still a fan overall.

Why do I always feel I'm being manipulated when I watched a BabyMetal video? Does the music have any integrity? Does it relate to anymore than spectacle and mental masturbation? Why don't I watch their videos over and over like I do with some other groups. BabyMetal... I don't know what I get, if anything, other than glassy eyes and soulless shredding and visual amazement. Thx, Joel & Rocko!

What a bizarre comment.
@TomClark-Futoura9 ай бұрын
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu Yeah, I agree with you, Shabu! I'm frustrated with BM. Such great talent, sets, choreography, and musical concepts. It's just that it doesn't reach down deep inside and take me somewhere meanful. It just doesn't connect like I want it to. So my comment is a bit weird because of that frustration. Thx!

@@onigiri9964 Yeah. I wish I studied Japanese rather than Spanish. Maybe both would have been best. But because of all the great Japanese bands, I' missing out on the emotional impact of hearing the lyrics as expressed and sung in real time. Thx, onigiri!
