Iv been waiting to see this one get tuned since the first time a saw it. I have a soft spot for bugs man. My buddy has a 59 oval back window that is so low you can’t fit a pack of cigs under the front lol we used to go rip up road reflectors with it in like 08. The last trip we made in it was to a vw show In ft. Worth (we’re in texas) and it was cold af and we had no windows or heat lol but we were um (dda before a dab was even thought of) and didn’t give a care. Good times

That bug needs a proper set of wide fenders. It looks a lot of fun. The fastest one I have ever driven was about 180 whp on an all motor VW air cooled block, that was a lot of fun, the shell is so light, it’s like a tin can.

No. From what I saw, it looked like there was 8+ inches of excess cable past the cable stop. I'm not recommending adjusting the cable, just cutting off the piece that goes past the cable stop.@@_Professor_Oak

What transmission are you guys using and how do you get over the driveline turning backwards because it's aimed towards the rear. An old Legacy front wheel drive transmission might work but the I have no idea what you guys did to get that thing running backwards
