I don't think that's really in keeping with the spirit of this new, experimental age. I'd personally prefer to see Quinns fall into a residential pool, or maybe an especially large puddle. Or maybe a waste treatment tank! Seems dangerous, but that's the purpose of experimentation: There's literally no other way to know besides Quinns throwing himself in to find out.

Just an idea that could kind of fit in with the whole experimental thing: Write a kind of SUSD saga about the pear and it being possibly a mafia leader (as it was in the original videos), and kind of sprinkle in the lore throughout the videos to make it possible to understand the underlining story to the whole board game police if one could decode it. Love everything you guys do, keep it up or I'm not going to be able to shut up or sit down ever again and that would be (as Matt would say) *BAD*

In person stuff will be great, there's several game playthrough videos I rewatch (catacombs!) due to the joy of it. Quinns not being in the video at all is a little sad, so I hope he's an active part in game playthroughs and group videos in the future. Not sure what other kind of not mentioned experiments they mean he will be a central part in, but it does feel like its been a while.

I'm excited for most of this! *But...* Over the years I've seen too many youtube productions "grow" from something personal, filmed in their own house with scrappy and uncomfortable setups to big companies with many people, fancy studios, constantly focused on growth. They lost all their charm, their personal touch and their very identity that made them big in the first place, becoming corporate money machines at the expense of their viewers. I don't think that's going to happen any time soon with SUSD, this is all just to say that I absolutely love the fact that these videos are just filmed in your living rooms, it makes them feel so much more personal and intimate and I hope you don't lose that when you start filming in a studio!

We are SO there with you! The stuff folks seem to already like - us doing silly reviews in our homes and surrounding areas are going to continue as normal! The studio will be for NEW formats, like live podcasts, actual plays, maybe some panel-show style stuff: things that were always awkward to squeeze into our homes and would benefit from a multi-cam setup. And it will certainly not be "growth at any cost," we're making sure to work very closely with our new contributors to get them up to a quality we really gel with before throwing them to the wolves! We like to think SU&SD can offer equal parts scrappy and polished, but if you ever feel us straying from that, please do let us know!

KZbin earlier today recommended a video from SU&SD season 2, with kingdom builder and defenders of the realm. It involved Paul trying to breed two games, Quinns sitting in a kids pool filled with gin , I think there was also a bit about the MTV show Cribs, (I was distracted) and just random silliness. I was thinking “oh yeah, we used to get weird here.” This message kind of feels like bringing back some of that energy. Some of that Quinns bare chested in a kids pool energy.

Hey guys awesome stuff, keep up the goo work! Personaly I like most of your stuff but the reiviews are always my favorite! Would love to see you review some more older and classic games aswell and hear your opinion on them. Also I know you dont like reviewing mediocre or bad games, but I think its just as fun and informative, if something is hyped up and you make a review and point out meh its not that good, then thats really intresting to hear and honestly might give me more important insight into what games to get then some review that says hei this is really good. I've always liked that about you that you guys are really honest and critical and dont reccomned every new hot game! Frankly thats what most other reviewers do! So maybe sometime you can consider reviewing a game that might not get reccomend. Anyways just my few thoughts for you guys. PS. Review of all of 7 wonders stuff would be really cool video!

The hope is that with a lot of editing and polish we can make great actual play stuff for the main channel that everyone would enjoy, and then if folks want it we'll put full unedited versions on a channel for donors. We'll be trying video versions of the podcast and some other stuff on that new channel as well. All theoretical at this point! We'll try things and see what works best for y'all, we have always tried hard to never clutter this main channel, but we also know some people just want "MOAR," so we're working on that!

If you guys ever look at more obscure TTRPG's, I recommend Kill Sector. It kinda blurs the lime between RPG and wargame - which makes sense, as it's about sci-fi gladiators. Rules lite, easy to make characters, tons and tons of content for it (mostly in the character creation direction), small but very active community. It's like highschool notebook drawing 90's action figure type stuff.
