Betty, thanks for your video. I'm watching from Anaheim, CA. I'm mostly into avocados. As for the length of videos, I like short, sweet, and to the point of the title, usually about 7 minutes to a max of 12-13 minutes, yet extremely informative. Longer than that and I can't watch the whole thing. Why do you like the Florida avocados so much? Like you, there are a couple that I'd like to try that are grown in Florida. However, there are so many excellent California varieties, I've got my hands full just testing to see which are the best. Unfortunately, I don't have anywhere near the amount of land you have. You have a very nice property.

Thank you for watching🙏 I have over 20+ varieties of avocados from California. I find not too many people from California know about Florida avocado varieties. All they know is Hass. I find lots of Florida avocado are also excellent in flavor. Much larger than California. With all of the space we have I rather have edible landscape instead of regular trees. I like all kinds of fruits and vegetables. In Paso Robles we are limited on selection of fruits and vegetables, including fresh seafood and wild game meat. I like all kinds of ethnic food and restaurants. I am very adventurous when comes to food. Most of my travel is around food. If I can't grow it here. I will have it shipped in. That's including live seafood and wild game meat. All of my friends love to come to my house for dinner. Because I introduced them to all kinds of fruits and Vegetables including seafood and wild game meat.😆 Cheer 🍷 Happy Thanksgiving!

I heard that Florida avocados texture is watery because most are the West Indies variety and they lack the oil content California varieties have.

Thank you for watching🙏 In my opinion lots of farm in Florida picked they avocados too early to beat the competition of South America avocados coming in United States. That is why it is taste watery. If they waited to picked the avocado at maturity then the price will go down. Florida is competing with South America avocado market. It gives Florida avocado bad reputation for being watery because picking the fruits to early. Just like any other fruits or citrus. If you pickted the fruit early it will not taste the best. That is why I am growing my own fruits trees. Because I know how fruit should taste. Even in California lot of commercial farm picked fruits too early to prevent bruising and shipped to the markets. That is why store bought fruit doesn't taste like home grown fruit. Tom from Sleepy Lizard farm and Lara farm said the same thing. If you leave the fruit longer on the trees the fruits will tasted better.
