Old school formula for a proper sports car 2door rear wheel drive , manual, and a lever hand brake = a proper drivers car

Should sell pretty well, fixed the torque curve, more power, aesthetically looks a bit better too.

My dream car for driving around the city and suburbs. Better torque curve, fatter atmo engine probably more reliable than turbo models and cheaper to maintain, perfect amount of grunt for getting around on the streets and the motorway; would give an SS Commodore a run for its money at the lights. Love the styling too. Spare tyre looks a bit ridiculous though lol, that and the rear seats are guaranteed to make blokes' wives roll their eyes haha Great review fellas

WV Manuals are better, but why do the sell next to nothing in them? The golf sell close to 100% in auto and DSG transmissions.

Randomly stumbled across this video from Canada as I just picked one up. The price was the biggest shock. This car is about $10,000 less here, staring just in under $30,000, and CAD and AUD are about on par. Crazy.

Cuz Australia has low volume vehicle sales than USA. So manufacturers don't give discounts like they do in North A.

Surely their is an option to turn off the Lane Change Flash feature in the Subaru, as I have in my VW Golf?

@@peterg2345 I am sure there are people who are open to both. I’ve had a number of hot hatches and some were very capable cars irrespective of their origins. Sure they may not have had the purity of a purpose built sports car, but the they could more than keep up.

the 86/brz has always been required to run on 98ron. If you're driving a sportscar, you gotta be prepared to pay for all the extras. Its not the miles per gallon, its the smiles per gallon !

What negatives? The back seat is useless? It’s only got two doors? The boot is small? It’s a $45k car with some cheap plastics? It’s a bit noisy? The target audience couldn’t care less.

@@rsoul7282 Maybe…but it’s probably more useable performance…and you can get a manual gearbox that doesn’t have Porsche’s utterly ridiculous moonshot gear ratios. I also have to say that I think the BRZ has even better electric steering than the Cayman. It’s more practical than a Cayman. And you can buy 3 of them for the price of a Cayman. It’s not a bad “poor man’s” choice.
