Some of the CV boots don’t even tear but the CV joint still fails. Had both mine replaced at 60k miles with no signs of tears

I have a 2014 with 136k on it, there is a kind of rattling/grinding nose that develops if I’m driving the car for more than 30 minutes while accelerating. Any suggestions?
