Foresters are 🔥 Daily my SG9 STI and already did 80.000km effortlessly and it’s happy to hit the Nurburgring. Owned a S/tb STI before but it does not compare to the SG9

@@wrxcult8266 He was bought up in poverty in Limerick, worked like a Trojan and only had one vice, he wanted a nice car. When he sold his Lada 1500 and bought his Lancia Thema turbo he was like a little boy with all the candy :). I was the same when I got the Prodrive :).

Dude, I've got a forrester 2000 turbo on sti running gear and other sti bits. She's in 19s at the moment and pretty low. Best part about her is that she runs well and she's got 187000 miles on the clock. That's miles not km! I'm out on the west coast of Scotland, the environment is not kind to cars over here but she's sweet 22ys old and clean underneath. Subarus in general are so underrated I think. I love them 💗

That’s awesome!!! Would look sick on 19’s… we hope to get more Forester vids soon 👊🏼

Mark, I had only watched your forrester vid when I commented. I've since subscribed to wrx cult. They used to hold rally stages in the forrests round our town when I was a kid 35+ years ago. My Dad used to take us straight up the hill from the back of the house and up into the forrest to watch these cars screaming along these narrow forrest tracks. Fast forward 35 years and the Argyll rally is back with an added town stage and I'm taking my 3 Yr old to watch it! The wee man loves all cars but the Scoobys always get the biggest cheer from him. Great content dude,I look forward to getting g through the rest of your videos

Some good information on the foresters, the video needed to be longer and more detailed about the differences. But that's just me. I love the Foresters. Differences between the Pre and post facelift STI's. The 04 STI did get a lot more trim options like the kick panels, STI shifter ring etc. STi also has allot lateral arms in the rear and control arms in the front. Larger sway bars, and other suspension upgrades. Important to note the Crossports are all a EJ205 2 litre and the STI is an EJ255, the only subaru of that era to have a 2.5 litre in japan. Even the Impreza STi was a EJ207 at that time. In Japan.

Hey- perhaps now is the time to sell and get a genuine STI. I’m told the version in image is now sold but still keep one in mind for the future….or maybe keep yours and buy another STI… take care 👍🏼
@joshuaadams3427 Жыл бұрын
did it save you money in the end?
@blnfxt Жыл бұрын
@@joshuaadams3427 buying all the parts for the sti conversion won't save you money instead of getting a sg9 fsti. car + drivetrain + exterior stuff will most likely cost you as much as an sg9 sti if you do it properly. (at least here in Germany)

The subbie community are like Christian’s and tunnel vision blind to the reality Subarus are gas costly exspenive to buy and repair all hype. Just sound good and look good Performance sucks gas mpg is worse I spent 22k$ in completely rebuilding my 04 fxt and regret it every day Ride is not smooth and gas mph is fn horrible and always something breaking cuz of the heat it produces. Welcome to the cult is what I tell new owners you don’t know till is too late

Firstly, appreciate the comments, it really helps the channel grow. You are right, Subie community is absolutely fanatical about their cars....Peace

I’ve never experienced any of these issues and $22k to rebuild a fozzy??? That better be a show quality car lol. I’m the second owner of an 07 XT Sports in WRB and she doesn’t really drink a lot of gas unless I get into boost. Otherwise it’s pretty damn good especially compared to my 08 STI hatch
@lindseyormsbee Жыл бұрын
22k on a rebuild?? If you really spent that I'm not even sure what to say to you. Subaru's do require extra attention, but they're so easy to work on. Saying the performance sucks is just ridiculous. They wouldn't have such a high demand if the performance wasn't there. Lastly, Subaru has an incredible AWD system. Oh and I'm not a Subie person, I prefer Nissan. The two that I've owned (06' Legacy GT and 05' Forester XT) were fun enough. Breakdowns happen when you modify.

@@lindseyormsbee i didnt rebuild anything i put in everything new. The drive train has some serious issues. There is a lag on each shift. Im working on replacing the entire drivetrain right now . But shit is expensive cuz all of the hype of this model forester hard to find parts etc.
