Great mountain scenery Vlad. Glad you are still enjoying the OBW. I’m taking mine out tomorrow 👍
@Vlad_tyy5 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! Are you going off-road or just in to mountains? And yes I will continue my journey and will try to go deeper in to the wilderness haha love the OBW great car!

@@Vlad_tyy Just a road trip today but plan to do off road stuff next month. I like the car so far, very linear feel and a great multi tool for an outdoor enthusiast. Do you have aftermarket skid plates on yours? That may be my next step.
@Vlad_tyy5 ай бұрын
That’s awesome I hope you have nice trip! Not yet I’m also right now doing some research for skid plates I want to have full protection because I go off-road quite a bit and want to try more challenges haha

Check out the Primitive Racing package for 760$ US dollars 👍 All three plates, built better than most companies.

I was looking at that one it’s was in one of my favourite the way it’s looks it nice! Thanks for the information I think I will try to get them in couple months to prepare for more difficult trails

nice work Vlad, keep pushing your car. you need to know your limits and there's only one way to find out. i'm doing the same with my non-outback version all the time. cars should be capable and entertaining, right?

Yes I have lots of plans for different videos just haven’t had the chance to get out yet to film, I’m trying to go out soon to make a couple amazing videos!)

I own the same model and colour as you. Been meaning to get out to Waiperious/Ghost area for my first time as I live close by. Hopefully I can find time this winter. I have studded Hakka 10’s, they are amazing so far. What did you go with?

Great choice! I went with Toyo GSI 6 LS they are running great so far no complaints specially with this beast 🔥

Beautiful video but the mic is a bit messed up versus your other videos. Not sure if YT encoding or what.

Not sure I will try to fix it! Thanks for the feedback it’s important for me to know how to improve

I also let the original sound to be louder in this video then all others so there’s a bit more real sound of engine and wheels spinning, maybe it’s because of that
@jimbrown72615 ай бұрын
@@Vlad_tyy I like hearing the sounds of the video more than the music.

What is the wading depth?
@Vlad_tyy3 ай бұрын
Subaru does not provide official fording depth figures, certainly be safe to drive through at least 9.5 inches of water. The air intake for the engine is an obvious ingress point for water that would cause damage. However I believe it’s safe to go below the grill so you don’t get any water in to air intake. And very important to never do big waves bc it’s might get inside and damaged it otherwise from my experience everything is going good, be mindful and think twice before going in to deep water lol you have to know how deep it is

If there are real sharp rocks and gravel bettter use Michelin Lattitude Cross AT Tires as the rubber mix comes from the open pit mining tire branch of Michelin.
@Vlad_tyy4 ай бұрын
I use this tiers because I’m showing how stock wilderness can go off-road, it’s not the best tires for off-road but it’s great tiers to do it all also I like how quiet they are

I think 245 tires are to big with very little wheel gap clearance. I put on 235's Falken Wildpeaks and they wrok great plus maybe a half inch extra height.
@Vlad_tyy5 ай бұрын
Nice that’s really good ! How do you like them so far on your adventures ?
@setoman15 ай бұрын
Be careful with those tires. They’re very fragile. I punctured mine on a tiny rock while backing out of my paved driveway.
@Vlad_tyy5 ай бұрын
Yes the side wall is not strong but it’s okay I didn’t had much pressure for it to puncture I find out that for this size 20 psi is perfect for rocks and 15psi for sand. I also try to be more careful because of that, thanks for letting me know I appreciate it and hope you like the video !)

What a shame, it is usual black road. Nothing special for any family car, what abot all subaru, bad, bad example
