Who? Hi, I am a Japanese to English translator who does clips of Vtubers, mostly from Hololive, but I'll also do VOMS from time to time. The people in these Vtuber clips do have their own channels where they do live streaming, usually games. My favorite Vtubers are Korone, Rushia & Coco, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the rest.
Why? The Vtuber idea started a few years ago in Japan with Kizuna AI. Now people from all over the world including both Japan and English speaking countries have Vtubers. I was learning Japanese since before this happened, and now I translate.
How? Learn Japanese, Learn a small amount of video editing, learn subtitling, and most of all, learn to code. (Actually most of my video editing is done automatically by code)
What? I translate interesting or funny clips I find while watching Vtubers live. I'm always open to requests and I read most of your comments, so fire away with your suggestions!

its a no hassle policy that encourages people to get a user licens for whatever material they want to use. the reason behind it is to prevent 1: intelectual property theft and 2: protect people from getting falsly charged by compaies. because a contract is involved theres no problems and no scamming which is far better than whatever happens in the west where anybody can claim anything and youtube just folds and getting your shit sorted out takes forever.

@@kyocerii1924 I'm just gonna try to rephrase what someone else had said. So the company who made the Henry Stickmin series got permission to put all these things in their game. So by the US's fair use laws, it's okay. However, by Japan's fair use laws, they're not allowed to mention their names (of the games made by them) because it doesn't count as fair use even though it's in the game. I think Pekora got in trouble for a thumbnail she used or something like that. I think that's why Subaru didn't say Kirby.

Japan has really strict copyright laws, any unauthorized usage of music/art/voices by companies can lead to lawsuits. However this game is made outside of Japan and legalized by their country's Copyright laws so the girls are safe. Some of their earlier streams/videos DID have to get deleted prior to the Copyright incident of Hololive, if you haven't followed Hololive for long.

Japanese copyright/IP law is much different from US law, and references as explicit as the ones in this game would be treading close to falling under Japanese law. US law (which applies to this game, of course), is much more lenient on the matter of parody.

Probably not many. Consider that it was only in Red/Blue (and Yellow, I suppose), and the games are 22-24 years old, depending on region, that kinda roots out a lot of the folks younger than mid-twenties.
