What interface are you using with the dual temp controls?

Im in Colorado. Just got my 05 LGT tuned with VF52, bolt ons, and stock fueling. Got 257/298 at 5,280ft elevation, 91oct, 65F anbient and 19.3lbs boost.

Sounds like a fun setup. Thanks for watching!

@SWSpeedCo can't wait to touch fueling and an FP Blue. Really hoping Cobb releases an updated flexfuel for our cars.
@SWSpeedCo11 ай бұрын
Yeah ethanol is the way to go. I don't think cobb will be doing flex fuel systems anymore because of there green initiative, but I have a eflexfuel technology kit and it works very well. I made a video about it a few years ago.

@@SWSpeedCo good to know as the only flexfuel system I know about is Cobb's
@SWSpeedCo11 ай бұрын
The eflexfuel kit is really nice because you don't need a tune for it. You need to have properly sized injectors for the amount of power you make, but as long as you have a good 91 octane fuel map it's pretty plug and play.

hey, can you post a link where you bought the components?

For the cobb intake?

Did you take off your big turbo? I thought you were making like 500 wheel on this car a year or two ago. Maybe I'm out of the loop! Sweet video

I live in California and got state refed so I had to put the car back to stock to get inspected. I seen it as an opportunity to make a video series of modifying the car through the stages and see how much power you can get from each stage. It will be back to the way it was soon just with more carb legal parts.

@@SWSpeedCo Ah gotcha. I watched the first video a while back and had the same question. Good idea with the series. Sucks that happened to you though, it was dope to see it how it was, but it will be cool to see it progress. I just bought an 02 outback after crashing my 04 STi so I'll be doing similar stuff as you did

Sounds like fun, I can't wait to get my car back to 500hp haha. But I think this video series will be worth the wait

This is 8th mile runs and 10 seconds to 70 mph? What are you using to map the ECU/ECM and how, access port? $480 for an take is a ripoff.
@SWSpeedCo11 ай бұрын
Yes this is an 1/8 mile strip. I'm using ecuflash and romraider for turning no access port just open-source tuning. I agree that it is a rip off and the only reason I bought it was so that when a cali cop asks me to pop the hood the main thing they look for is an intake and if mine is carb approved it keeps me from getting another state ref and having to put my car back to stock. So for that reason it is worth it for me but I did love my KS tech intake

What's going on sir I have a Subaru Forester 2005 xt I have a couple of bolt on you have a nice car what I wanted to know is could you share with me what are you using for tuning software and what I need to start my own tuning I appreciate you thank you sir
@SWSpeedCo11 ай бұрын
I use ecuflash for editing and flashing the ecu, and I use romraider for data logging. Those are both free softwares. I also have megalog viewer for reading data logs which I think there is a free version but I have the paid one with more features. The only thing you need to buy is a tactrix openport 2.0 cable to interface your car and laptop.
