Subaru WRX Bad Fuel Smell

Awesome! I just got an 02 and the gas smell had been bugging me. Those lines are a little buried but, this will be my weekend fix.

Did it stop the smell ? I have a 05 wrx sti and when I take it for a little drive and stop, that's when that smell comes in. Could this also lead to miss fire ? Sometimes when I put my foot down it miss fires, like I'm running put of gas. Could this be the reason ? Please help

You have a fuel leak also you're fuel pump needs to be replaced so you can get better acceleration Just replace the cylinder pump that's in the fuel tank located behind the back seats

Ok so thats why my check engine light is on or thats something ells havent scan it but i do smell gas inside and out also like burn

It would be something else I don’t think this would cause a check engine light
