Awesome educational video. Good mix of info and intimacy. Many people think it’s just the plaques that separate it from a Spec R. Good thing you highlighted the super exclusive wheels! FYI they use the same spec wheel on the S208, S209 and 24hr NBR Race car/Type RA! (Differently coloured for each). Also, beautiful cars, Adam!

@@wrxcult8266 yeah America has type ra block for standard 19-21 sti but we don’t have ej25 final edition. Mine is 21 sti and 21 model year is the only one model year don’t have special edition.

Yes they are - I just got the base model last week after a special order and modifying it. Still has the RA block with upgraded pistons that started in 2019. Resale will be awesome regardless of the edition but definitely keeping this car for a long time as a daily and aiming for 390 whp.

@@Martin944turbo so the 2019+ STI gets a revised 3rd gear; Upgraded brakes, RA block, Upgraded pistons. Is there anything else that was upgraded/added in 2019?

@@andrewslattery2145 the sport model and up got better suspension - Bilstein. My friend got his car at the same time as me, same production line but Sports model. He got push start model, Recaro seats and the suspension upgrade. All we noticed. I heard the stock exhaust was slightly upgraded but we all changed it the first month :)

Only 75 in the country and about 50 of them are for sale at double its sale price lol. Just makes you think did these people buy it to enjoy it or as an investment to make money off enthusiasts.

Hard to say. I know Adam and his wife just got lucky. I think most others just bought them, then the value went up….but they’re only worth 6 figures if someone is willing to pay…can’t say I’ve met or know of anyone who bought one second hand for 6 figures… will definitely be one to watch into the future and see the asking prices..

Thats what pissed me of as well. We bought ours for the love of the car, but there’s so many who only want the $$$. (Mainly Dealers). Yes they are an investment and yes they become very expensive very quickly and with the certificate of authenticity all owners just received will put another 20k on the asking price. We like to take ours out & drive them & use them what they were intended for. I know of some owners who put them on a truck to send them in for services. Just rediculose…

@@k9-unit-australia275 Your not wrong there. Not only STI's but other cars ive seen Mazda Familia's, Nissan Gti Rs etc put into prestige storage and now they asking 1million for them. They can go get fkd. Maybe in a year or 2, might be looking to upgrade from the WRX to an STI, want to see how the new one fairs.
