Great review! Very informative and well presented. Just on the transmission, that 10spd is one of the best boxes Ford developed in a while. That's why it feels so strong, because of gearing. You always have a gear for any spead. That's also why it holds the gears longer. Remember that it's got 10 gears, so the ratio is small from one gear to the next. It was shifting way to much in the previous gen, and it's programming is much better now. And a very strong box aswell

@thatoneotherotherguy21 күн бұрын
Most full-size buyers would be better served by a midsize like this. Great, practical truck. It does annoy me that the domestic brands gave up on cabs other than crew cab though. I applaud Nissan and Toyota for keeping them around. Not everyone buys a truck to have tons of 4-5 passenger space at the expense of bed space; for many, the truck part of the truck is the primary concern.

Still not driving the Brand unlike Maverick and newly redesigned Ford Explorer to include the Ranger Brand actually not just Ford although certainly there is that. Both Explorer and Ranger need hybrid drive power trains as the Maverick now has and the F150 now has as well. Amazing the profit margins on these machines but compared to Honda Ridgeline not sure US customers are taken in by what Detroit is pushing at the moment Ford Maverick only exception to that😊😊 great review 😊😊

@spyder00006922 күн бұрын
Not enough to upgrade but some good improvements like the 2.7, integrated trailer brake controller, trailer backup assist, the longer wheelbase, the wider bed. However, the new design also had a weakness with the bed that requires additional support to be installed by the dealer. As someone who always installs a cap on trucks that worries me.

My opinion full size sticker for $50-$65k but right now end of ‘24 you can probably land an XLT F150 2.7 for around $45k and a Silverado LT with a 5.3 V8 for $45-$50k. At that point when comparing to Ranger MSRP pricing I’d go for the full size as better value but I’m sure there is discounts on Ranger so let’s say you can get that XLT Ranger for low $40’s. I’d still go for the full size but there is a reason they make midsize and full size. Nice to have choices
