I know this video is almost one year old and the most recent Beta version of Suno is better than the program demonstrated here. But, we still have a way to go for professional musicians and producers. I hope that going forward there will be more possibility to affect musical choices as in picking male or female voices and choosing from a variety of male or female voices. Also, being able to separate multi tracks with the instrumentation divided between each track is important. I can go on and on with at least a need for twenty additional different ways to effect the music and vocals. But, I guess we are currently in kindergarten with AI portals like Sumo. Looking forward to the future...

@@robbrown4621 Nothing that fine yet, you can generate a track, then download, when you select download you can select to download as MP3, WAV or as separated tracks... there is only like 4 tracks when you do so, vocals, instruments, bass and 'other' . That's the sound of a banjo, not a guitar. This is a common flaw of a "videographer" or director and/or editors. Example: So many music videos are ruined (for me) because they aren't musicians, they'll zoom in on a guy playing rhythm or bass guitar while a wild, distorted lead is the audio we're hearing. Informative video, nonetheless.

So that song was obviously quite bad, like I don't think anyone would actually actively listen to it repeatedly, but the point is that it was still definitely recognizable as music. And with the exponential curve we are on in the AI space I think it is only a matter of time before you can have your favourite artist sing whatevery you want, in whatever style you want and whatever key you want. Personally I think that this means that the future for musicians is live performance. Once you're competing against new songs by Freddy Mercury, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Nina Simone, Elvis Presley and all other musical gods of recording history, I just don't think it's viable to think that musicians will be able to have a career by releasing their own music in their own voice. However I strongly believe that people will always gravitate towards live musicians stepping on a stage and just having fun and blowing people away with their skills.
