I figured out the issue, it's a bug that I think is only on console, the only button that is used for touch screens is actually x (on playstation, or a on xbox), if you have x as jump for example it won't work, so I just unbounded jump for a bit, and it worked

Andrew878D you can find some of them sitting around the aurora as PDA’s. the captain’s quarters code appears later as a message through the radio

For the Cabin 1 and captions quarters, you have to go in the prawn bay the research room is also in the path to the prawn bay

Guys if it don't let you do codes go on options and change your jump to a different button I think the glitch is only on console because I had it but I did that and it worked btw remember to change your buttons back to normal
