Finally got a PB that didn't use KrazeyCane (The now banned glitch), so this run is perfectly valid. Pretty happy with this one, sub-30 is sooo close. Edit: So I'm seeing a lot of the same questions being asked so I just want to ask that if you have a question make sure you check both the FAQ in the description and other comments before asking as your question may have already been answered.

How are you doing the glitch for you open lifepod storage I'm assuming from any distance?

9 months late so you probably know this already by now but if you don't: you gotta press to open the storage and then like right after you press to open the hatch in a swift and smooth motion so they cancel each other out and you leave the pod, then the first time you open your inventory after that you are in your inventory and storage at the same time.

How much does the spawn location of the lifepod and other blueprints affect time?

Blueprint locations don't have much of an impact, just as long as you get all of them. Spawn are a huge difference, with a slightly less optimal spawn it can easily add a min to total time. A bad spawn could probably add up to +10 mins depending on where it is.

Not really, if you hold down the sprint key it stays open for some reason.

@@ekat_27 You have to be inside a base when it floods. If the base is already flooded you can partially deconstruct and then reconstruct the hatch while inside the base to activate the glitch.

It's for a glitch called fish skip. Normally when you pick up a purple tablet for the first time you get locked in an animation. By dropping a fish and switching over to the Seaglide quickly, I can overlay the purple tablet animation and I won't get slowed down by it.

Mods are banned in speedruns, this is a completely vanilla version of the game. It is on the older Sept 2018 patch but that's not a mod.
