Subnautica Speedrun | Survival Any%

I've done it, I got WR. Holy cow my heart is racing...
This was a pretty solid run, good RNG and I got to use the new KrazeyCane Warp which is pretty cool. This has been quite the journey but I've enjoyed every step of it. I got to talk to so many cool people, share ideas and theories, and improve my technique every day. I don't think I'm done though, there are other categories, bingo, and even still, lots of room to improve on any%. But for now, I am beyond satisfied with this run.
The objective of Any% is to complete the game as fast as possible, this includes exploiting the game's various glitches to our advantage. If you want to see a run without glitches there are several glitchless speedruns you can find on the official Subnautica leaderboard.

Recently in the Subnautica Speedrunning community there has been a lot of discussion around the validity of KrazeyCane warp, the glitch we use to open the fabricator menu while in the portal cutscene. Without delving into the details about how this glitch works, it requires a certain amount of portal load time in order to be able to pull off successfully. When it was first discovered I was quick to implement it and as a result I was the first person to successfully use it in a run. However, recently it has come to light that those with faster computers than mine (which is a significant number of people) have either much more difficulty or are downright incapable of performing this glitch because their portal load times are too quick. The only solution to this would be to purposely slow down your device, but this of course comes with its own set of issues. Because of this the community has decided to disallow this glitch from any future runs. This time will remain on the leaderboard as it was set before this rule was changed, but any future runs are no longer allowed to utilize this glitch. If you are a new or current runner, do not attempt to replicate this glitch as your time will not be accepted.

This is amazing, even though I never played subnautica I know that it takes a while to play through the game. Great job!

When you crash on a hostile planet, gather sufficient resources to survive, build numerous bases and vehicles, bargain with a sea goddess, get cured of a previously incurable disease, shut down an alien laser cannon, build a rocket, and fuel that rocket all in 32 minuets

Took off before the Aurora exploded. The best I ever did by then was being ready to go to the Aurora to repair it/get the Neptune schematics. Insane 🤣
