My 2004 Yukon has 250,000 miles and still running great, Imo 2004-2006 is peak reliability, and I like the looks also. I use mine to camp in and I also tow a small camper with it. Sometimes it is the camper & Sometimes it tows the camper!

99-06 was the gmt800 platform and to me those are the most reliable trucks ever built.

Just bought a '92. If I was closer to Twin Falls I'd definitely have them deck it out!

I have a Suburban with over 300k and can confirm they're surprisingly capable and fairly dependable. I built drawers in it (actually seen Suboverland before) and hated the lack of ceiling space. Went to just a ceiling fan and a shelves instead. But love the work Grady does! Nice vid.

Go give Suboverland a look, Grady has something really cool going! Could you live in a Suboverland? Or just spend a weekend?

Chase, always been a big fan of your vids, but just a constructive feedback - over the past few videos, the audio has been really off, too low volume of your voice and usually the wind noise taking over. Please use that rode wireless of yours :) Cheers

🙈Could this kid POSSIBLY get any more gorgeous ?☺ NOT possible. 😍 Oh yeah, great work on everything including the presentation. 🏅👏🏻 I am VERY INTERESTED to know if the seat(s) in the 2007 actually fold down into this configuration. I have been trying to figure out ( for YEARS NOW ) IF and HOW to remove the 2 seats behind the front seats.

I'm building a 05 Yukon. Not XL So it's short wheel base. Where can i get those window covers? I've tried making some and they never stay in the windows. Do you sell them?

For bear country might think about packing an electric bear fence. 2.4 lbs for huge peace of mind.

Good idea! In this area we only have black bears and they don’t cause too many issues.

If afraid of bears, don't go to bear country. However, look up the stats, very few people are harmed by bears. I have been camping in Shoshone National Forest, WY for more years than I can count and I'm 75. Started with just tents, ended with an off-road 19" clearance popup trailer pulled by a lifted PU truck and have seen numerous grizzlies, have used bear spray only twice. Black bear...sometimes. (Shoshone has more grizzly bears than any other location in the continental USA.) But the beauty of places like shoshone make it all worthwhile. From MT to AZ, there is so much to see. Honestly, was always worried about cougars/mountain lions, whatever you want to call them. They are there but you might never know it. Best defense against large cats is a simple handgun and shoot two to three rounds in front of the cat, they will leave. NO NEED TO SHOOT THE CAT. I have run into them as far south as capital reef NP and the three shots worked great, CO, and WY met up and again, three shots. (Will admit the other 11 rounds were...JUST IN CASE...the three round did not work.) So, if not afraid but leery, then do some checking. Search the net for bear encounters N. American or just USA. You will be surprised how few there are; especially, if you consider how many people camp nowadays in the NFs, NP's, BLM lands in and out of campgrounds. And if camping; just be bear safe. Use lockers if in a campground and available, if not, put food (ALL FOOD INC, DOG FOOD) INSIDE THE VEHICLE IF CAMPING IN TENT, OR HANG IT FROM A TREE AT APPROX. 15 FEET HIGH. Be safe, read how to be safe, and there is more of a chance to be attacked and robbed in a Walmart parking lot when urban camping than being attacked by a bear while camping if camping bear safe. Camping can be the best thing you can do. This country (especially the western states) have so many place to to and never see anyone or hear anything but the sounds of mother nature. Too many people wait till they are older, like I did and I started in my 50s and end up regretting it. Get out when young and you will have more years of fun, relaxation you can manage. For me, I only wish I had started in my 20s. See this beautiful country NOW, before it is too late. And if I was a bit younger, or I decide to just sell my house, and every damn thing in it, this vehicle looks to be the way to go and prices are not bad at all. Although I owned a Suburban at one time, I never thought of taking one camping, but really, they are fantastic off-road so why not. They sure are large enough for a 6'2" guy like me with plenty of room for me and a custom with a singled bed, with more storage on the side would be my go too if I ever went this way. Load a roof top container on the roof or even pull a small trailer with a lift and you will have all you need. And have to say, Twin falls from where I live in ID is just a 3 hour drive. Makes me think....maybe, but at 75, who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Suboverland has horrible quality in their builds. I've seen quite a few and as a contractor I'm not impressed at all. I have my own Suburban Verlander, that I built, so I love the idea but they need to take some pride in their work
