when to buy a car?

According to most advisors: 1. You should only buy a car if there is an actual need for it, otherwise don't buy a car. 2. Let us say there is genuine need for a car then only buy once you have saved enough for the car, never buy car on a loan. In fact, financial advisors don't even recommend buying a house on loan. 3. If there is urgent need for a car and you do not have enough saved, then only buy a car that is worth 10% of your annual income, if it means you have to buy a second hand old maruti car then so be it.
