It is amazing how I learn more from 3 10-minute videos than from 50 pages of a textbook...

I think it is awesome they reupload vides if they made a significant mistake. Otherwise some one would learn a wrong thing about the topic. And since I watched it already, I just let it run in the background for the view on the new version and leave this comment for the algorithm. :)

It is in some sense! "Dry" in chemistry often simply means "waterless", not necessarily "not wetted by some liquid"

Wow!I am just so happy that this topic was well explained with bioremediation in mind! Makes it difficult to understand these concepts without the why in a real life situation. Thank you!

I dont study chemistry anymore but i thought i would watch this episode for some nostalgia. After watching this video im thinking to myself, how in the world did i pass Alevel chemistry.

Chemistry tutor here. A Level chemistry doesn't go into this much detail about SN1 and SN2 reactions, at least not in the specifications that I've taught. They only go as far as saying that a leaving group on a primary carbon uses the SN2 mechanism, a tertiary carbon uses SN1, and secondary could be either, and that's about it. I'm learning new things by watching this series 😄

Haha thats why, i remember sn1 and sn2 but i couldn't recall all this stuff and was honestly shocked on how i passed 😂

Why is it that I understand CC more than my actual teacher even though both of them teach virtually?

@Crash Course can you please please please upload the Organic Chemistry videos faster? I really profit from learning from them since I'm studying for my OC exam in nearly a week 😱😱😱 Or is there anything you can provide people who are studying for the orgchem exams since your videos are 🔥🔥🔥? ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wow! Your home looks exactly like a Crash Course set. What are the chances of that?
@brandonkelley65003 жыл бұрын
I was really confused by that too. So I looked at a previous episode. I think the two tone diagonal paint is CGI in. I'm assuming all the props was simply moved in. IDK where the yellow book shelf would have came from. They made it look super similiar to the set it was crazy.

Credit for the closeness of the match is owed entirely to Deboki's top notch painting skills! We got suuuuper lucky and ochem was able to do another studio shoot late last summer (getting us through episode 20 + some lab footage you'll see later). But since this was kind of a circumstantial fluke that would not happen again, we sent Deboki home with any prop small enough to fit in a box. Then, once she got home she bought some paint, and sacrificed her guest room + a bookshelf. And then she did this masterful painting job! She's a woman of many talents!!
