Hey Dal, I just wanted to say thanks for keeping up the videos, although I main Sub rather than Outlaw because I prefer it's play style best. I wanted to let you know that I am using the weapon master/vigor build and I have been doing well in PVP with it. I have played since vanilla on my rogue so I am pretty decent at locking down a target. World PVP is great with this build especially if you have master Mathias follower as a bodyguard because those crits in the first few seconds with weapon master sometimes decimates an opponent.

Sub or Sin for pvp?

Hey Dal, long time rogue player here. Just came back for Legion. I always played Sub and have been leveling as it currently 107. Everyone keeps telling me Assassination is the best PVP, but you seem to have been owning just as great as Sub. Do you recommend I stay Sub or switch to Assassin before I invest the AP at 110?

Joshua Bernard I've myself been having a blast with sub, and I prefer using assassination for PvE mainly. My opinion is to just use your AP into whatever you are having the most fun with, cuz that's what this game is about, right?

Joshua Bernard he makes all three specs look viable in pvp, honestly. Watch his assass videos and outlaw videos. It's intense. I would say they're all about even, and more importantly, they're all subject to nerfs. Think of it this way: if you switch to assass even though you have more fun as sub, and then they nerf assass, where are you? Up shit creek without a paddle. Then you're not having fun OR playing a viable spec, and since it's legion, you'll be at a huge disadvantage if you switch because of artifact power. Assass has huge single target burst, outlaw has insane control and utility, sub has great damage, great control, and great survivability. Go for sub if you like sub.

good reply. I prefer sub as well since its the most fun for me while playing. Occasionally ill swop to assassin when raiding. Never cared for outlaw myself but I do see most using it during pve.

If your playing with a healer, then assassination would be best for 2's but if you are caster/melee. Sub would be the better choice imo. But for casual bg's, you should just play whatever you have the most fun at. There is no denying that the damage assassination brings to the table, but I find rogues are meant to lock down healers or capitalize on players with low health. That being said, sub is probably your better option for bg's. But that's just my opinion.

I would say Orc for the stun duration reduction and the burst damage cool down, honestly. Although belfs DO have an extra aoe kick that gives you energy, which is pretty sick. Undead would be good too for will of the forsaken. Troll is basically the same as orc, crowd control reduction and damage cool down. Basically, don't go goblin or pandaren and you're fine.

You want to Shadowstrike for CP generation. To do that you should maintain Shadow Dance. Alternate Cheap Shot and Shadowstrike when locking targets down. Establish Nightblade on targets. When you already have Nightblade up use Evis for Damage and Kidney for CC. Watch for DRs.

subtlety is godlike in pvp, lots of fun, in wpvp is just silly. problem for me its just is deadly boring in any pve, from mythics to raids omg it sux there, its very spammy and not fun at all ((
