@@chkee17 Where does the financial support or initial dispersement come into this equation ? - You have left out "Step 4A - Procure Financial Backing". As to what you mention is what I did for over 30 years and made many government and non-government contacts, but non could "confirm" the financing. One elder told me early on "You will never succeed because companies will lose sales, too many will never find work and taxes will not be collected. Think big picture of not only the tree but its roots as well."

With years of experience in Engineering & Design of actual Nuclear Submarines, the only issue I have that stops me completely is the lack of the money to move forward with my numerous idea's. -- An elder told me "You will never succeed because too many people will lose money or you will never create money after the first build. Start looking at things as a large tree, what you have designed will eliminate the roots (Bankers, Electricians, Plumbers, Taxes, ets) instead of letting them grow."

You might be wrong at the Goal step or the Problems step. 1. If you really believe that your problem is the lack of money, and you can't really find a way to solve that problem, then your goal doesn't align with reality and you will have to change it. 2. It's also possible that you haven't yet identified a deeper problem beyond lack of money. That problem might be the victim mentality, which causes you to stop designing solutions. If you are optimistic, you will find that you can start small with your idea. Or you can go and work in other jobs to find the money first. Also it's important to understand that having a lot of money to fail is a huge risk. Starting small is always better because it will allow you to learn. If you have a lot of money, you will have another problem, which is that you will lose a lot of it because you have never validated any of your ideas on real money before.

I think step 1a is to weed out the goals that are more like wishes or fantasies, or downright obviously unrealistic. In step one, declaring what you really want, can include things that just won't happen. This 1a step isn't the same as steps 2 or 3 where we determine what's standing in our way.

A person must have a wealth of ideas. Yet with no action, the ambition would just be left confined in the faculty of his mind.

I struggled with this for a long time. I know from experience that it can drive you to the point of insanity. Best advice for it I have found is ask yourself this question and think deeply about your most honest answer: “If you were guaranteed a certain amount of money per year for the rest of your life that would allow you to be more than comfortable in life, but no matter what career or passion you choose, that amount will remain the same, what would you want to do? And you have to pick something and once you do, you’ll do it for the rest of your life.” Think deeply about this question and you’ll find the answer. The question weeds out the influences of money and fear within your thinking to allow you to find your true passion. And once you find it and commit yourself to your passion truly, the money will come eventually from the exceptional work you’ll do through that passion. Hope this helps buddy.

Hey. Very relevant and valuable advice. Big data needs a way to find things that experienced, expert and or educated people do. The guy who invented the idea "wisdom = relevance realization" was talking about using it for that... like for AI or searching. Like hitting the wisdom search mode in Google if they had that. I can't understand why they haven't added the feature yet. I'm wondering would you be okay with people consulting some type of Ray Dalio chat bot in the future? And if so how would you go about putting the most relevant information into it. Or would you want to consult it yourself... would you want it more complex or more simple etc. etc. etc.

I got to do it all at once emphasizing more in one area than the other when life demands it or whatever I got to do it all at once everything has to be done all at once unless you have the luxury of time on your side and if you do then you're probably already successful it feels like I'm trying to get everything that I had in a past life or something I already owned all this s*** now I got to buy it again even worse I got to work?
