Gordon Chiu is not only very knowledgeable, he is wise beyond his years. His optimistic attitude and outlook is based on fact, and he really knows of what he speaks. An excellent primer on the marvels of a miraculous material. I hope Gordon will be a speaker at the next Murdock Capital Symposium.

True deep technology. True innovation at hand. The areas this technology touches are extraordinary. Some of my favorites include: Life Sciences, Power/Environment, Space Travel and Computing. It's going to be really interesting when combined with nanotechnology associated to carbon nanotubing etc. I've very curious to see how we progress on an interdisciplinary level in terms of combinatorial solutions for the human race.

very inspiring speech, don't forget what Albert Einstein said: Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. Some people have great visions, others will follow once it is visible. Lots of nanotechnology products are coming on the markets now. A nanotech product like quantum dots might be soon in every screen. Looking forward for more inspired speeches from Gordon Chiu!

It has always been difficult for visionaries to present ideas in ways that the great mass of men (and women) can understand. Dr. Chiu gives an intelligent and entertaining presentation involving a highly technical subject. I look down the list here and see mostly mature responses. For those of you who chose not to respond is such a manner, I would encourage you to spend time commenting in other places on other topics. This is adult subject matter. I've met Gordon. He is kind, thoughtful and sincerely interested in changing the world. Believe me, his credentials are genuine. And I can certainly say, if he just wanted to make a pile of money, with a brain like his, he would have very little trouble in many already well established fields. For those who have never done it, it's hard to get up in front of an audience and talk about something that few can yet conceive. Gordon, if you are reading this. Do not be discouraged by negative comments. A little known fact most people do not know.... Not a single newspaper, NOT ONE, sent a reporter to Kitty Hawk for the Wright Brothers' first flight. Why would anyone waste time sending a reporter to cover a non-event sponsored by two idiot bicycle makers named Orville and Wilber Wright? Your research is sound. Your thinking is sound, and your intentions are pure. Why anyone, with average IQ or even slightly less than average IQ would want to attack that is beyond my understanding and most likely beyond the understanding of any reasoning human being.
