Successful release of a seal pup rescued in March

Back in March, a team inspecting the MOD air weapons range came across a juvenile grey seal with nylon fishing line wrapped around its neck and called for help from our wardens. Unfortunately the injury was deep and infected, needing specialist treatment, so they transported the patient to Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary & Wildlife Centre, where it was assessed and the line quickly cut and removed.
The video shows the seal found back in March along with another rehabilitated seal being successfully released back out into Donna Nook.
