It’s ironic how their logic is often a double edged sword. I don’t know how the concept of it working the other way could have completely missed their understanding and I don’t think it did. What I really think happened was they directly relayed how women think and work and attempted to get you accustomed to that idea without thinking about it critically which not only backfired but in hindsight is pretty insulting.

I've noticed that women with high paying jobs almost never settle for men with lesser earnings. They're always with men who they consider to be their equals in terms of wealth or the ones belonging to the upper echelons of society. While most men, regardless of their financial status or profession won't hesitate to be with unemployed women, if they're atleast decent looking. I think men in general hesitate to marry women who earn more and inversely, most women will hesitate to marry men with lower incomes

My brother's wife always used to say, "I'd prefer to be the bread winner and the man stays home." I always told my brother (who in those days was very hippy-dippy and left-leaning) when that came up that it wasn't true, though she might believe it. They were married for 5 years, four of those years my brother was the breadwinner, most of that time he was also the only one who was employed as she did other things like go to school part time and make art. The last year he was unemployed... he gave up his job for her in order to move so she could be closer to her family and had a lot of trouble finding work in the new city. She was the breadwinner for that year... and all of a sudden her narrative changed. "You never work." "You're holding me back." "You're a deadbeat." He had a real career... a "I decide what I do and what you are going to pay me" career... and now he is starting over from the bottom after sacrificing everything for a woman who left him because reality was different then the girl-power fantasy. Yes, #NotAllWomen... but also #You'reNotThatSpecial. Men and women need to be aware of both their own gender's psychology as well as the opposite gender's psychology... and they need to accept that they are not that special... they are probably a typical representation of their gender... especially these days with the degenerated culture that seems designed to make both sexes truly awful.

@mpool28614 жыл бұрын
I think that is a good thing because men need to be the providers in a successful nation. If women can provide for themselves such as nowadays then they have eliminated a crucial biological driving force for women to find a partner. If less people get together and get married you have less children and your nation becomes unsustainable. Hence why traditional gender roles existed because it respected the differences that exist between the genders and gave each gender a position in society that was gauged to benefit the collective group/country/nation. The specific problem with regards to what you're saying is that men are held to these traditional standards that women on the other hand are not, in fact they are actively discouraged from. It's yet again another example of double standards in favour of women.

I will say that yes MOST women are like this. I know my wife's twin sister is. Back 20 years ago my wife was pretty cute at 31, met her twin, she was pretty cute too. No I do not have a penthouse forum story lol. My wife made good money as a cook/waitress, nowhere near what I made but, she paid half of the bills and bought most of the food and cleaning goods while I bought her whatever goodie she wanted for herself. She's a gamer so we own 2 ps4s and tons of games. One year for her Birthday I paid for her sister to fly from Boston to Chicago, on short notice, as a surprise. Ticket cost over a 1000$. I went and got her from the airport and she refused to take a bus. Most people who live in Major cities will know what I mean about not owning a car. All weekend it was gimme gimme gimme. I could tell, though she was happy to see her sister, it was getting on my wife's nerves. When my wife found out how much the ticket cost she flipped out. I never seen her that angry lol. She then asked if she gave us money towards it..I said no it was a present. She then asked whose idea was that. She already knew the answer to that one. Apparently that's what she does. Our son recently went to Boston and saw her, said she has dyed bleach blonde hair and dresses 20 years too young. Told me she's on all the dating sites and barely pays for anything. Yes she works but like you said..it's her money..lol.

Exactly, there is no "our" money. Even my almost 80 year old grandparents are this way, my grandfather pays all the bills with his Social Security and what's left of his meager retirement after 9/11 decimated stocks that his money was into and my grandmother keeps hers and spends it on whatever. I love them both but it drives me fucking crazy. Not to mention she treats him like her lesser, as soon as he sits down to eat dinner my grandmother will ask him to get her a glass of milk, or hounds him to get stuff done around the house like he isn't almost 80 fucking years old. All I've wanted in life is a good woman and a family of my own, but I'm 26 and still single because modern women by in large are selfish and have no commitment to a relationship because they think they can always move laterally upwards even when they don't contribute or have nothing to offer.

Women: I don’t wanna date a man that makes less than me Also women: Making less than a man is SEXISM!!!
@BattleBladeWarrior4 жыл бұрын
To be fair, the wage argument is a woman working the same exact position with the same exact credentials as a man and still being paid less. In a way, that is sexist because employees should be paid the same for the same position, before you add years worked, and all this extra stuff in. Whereas women not wanting to date a man who makes less then them, by my understanding is a huge difference. I.E. woman makes 150K, man makes 60K. Men are genetically programmed to seek out attractive mates because its a sign that they will produce healthy offspring. Women are genetically programmed to seek out a mate who can provide for and protect them. The only difference now is, instead of the best man being, for example the strongest and fiercest or smartest warrior in the tribe, society has changed to where those qualities arents as big a deal. so the only way to judge if a man can really provide in a big way is to look at his paycheque. If the man makes more, that shows the woman he is financially capable of providing for his offspring. A man making less then a woman could trigger that instict, where they see that the man cant offer anything that they cant already do, therefore hes less attractive.

@@BattleBladeWarrior I'm sorry but that is just misinformation. The 73 cents to $1 is the average earnings of all women compared to the average earings of all men. This is NOT counting hours worked, education, occupation, overtime pay, or vacation time. When you factor in all of these variables there is still a 2-5% or 2-5 cent wage gap. If you want to talk about that wage gap, go for it. But the wage gap that 3rd and 4th wave feminists spout off all the time are lies to gain favor and support without actually giving real arguments.
@pingu39844 жыл бұрын
@@BattleBladeWarrior The "wage gap" has been thoroughly de-bunked by every single credible economist. Women are simply not paid less than men. They have FEWER ANNUAL EARNINGS ON AVERAGE. This is not the same thing. The truth is is that companies that exist solely for financial profit do not care one iota for your left wing politics. They exist for profit. If you had two people identical in every conceivable way but had to pay person 'a' 25% more for no reason at all you would always choose to hire person 'b'. Or your argument is "Well men take fewer sick days, make career centric life decisions, and work longer hours" in which case they're absolutely entitled to more money. Which ever way you look at the "wage gap" it's nonsense. If you want to get angry about a proven statistic let's talk about why male suicides are so much higher than women's and why, despite this, there's almost no help available. But nah y'all quiet about that.

So I could almost guarantee the relationships people had after WWII or after the Great Depression where families were eating dogfood to survive were FAR more genuine than what we have today. Yeah there were some really bad things that happened during, and after that time, but people stuck together. The Black community was an example of this. Black families throughout segregation, Chattel, and J.C. STILL had far higher rates of marriage than White families who faced no oppression. Well, before the state separated the Black family with socialistic welfare checks. I'm not saying that those times were ideal, certainly racism and sexism were not moral by my standards. True true.
@sana38434 жыл бұрын
Actually, I don’t know “rich” men that married or in a serious relationship with “broke” girls either. Maybe it’s just my country’s mentality but people usually build relationships with those with a similar background and education. It happens that people get up there together being both from modest background. It happens that a “rich” guy can have a temporary interest to a “broke” girl outside of marriage and get her an apartment or something. I don’t know, it’s just a part of culture I guess when a family you came from and education matters to both parties and generally tend to be pretty evenly matched. Most people get married in university years and the type of university/school you go to will also determine your circle of people. People who get hitched later are either introduced by common friends or meet from work. I don’t know a single person who married someone who is way above or below financially or education wise. Not that it never happens, but not really common, especially among upper class.
@myster_ink81154 жыл бұрын
That's a fair argument that you've personally never experienced this. But suggesting that only "upper class" as you put it value education, or both party's financial position in society is equal. isn't the point that I'm making. I personally don't put people on tiers that would suggest they hold more or less value based on their education or income but everyone's different. I have experienced (indirectly) this refusal to take interest in a person romantically based on how much they make or their "immaculate" academic background . I as someone that has traversed through life fairly well despite my upbringing I appreciate not being superficial. I tend to look for things in a partner that hold more importance/significance and value such as a strong moral compass, honorable character, compassion and humility. Never the less I respect your input on this topic, in that based on your experience and perspective my previous statement. What I've found to be true isn't entirely accurate, and that's to be expected. Two completely different people from two completely different walks of life. That being said my previous statement was built on the foundation of personal experience, with this video reaffirming that. Equally as right your statement reaffirming your experience. For either of us to suggest that were aware of the mass majority of humans on how things do or don't happen would be hubristic to say the least.

Myster_Ink of course. We come from different countries, different cultures so naturally our experiences will be different. I respect and understand your point. That whole idea that someone will just randomly show up to change your life sounds like a Cinderella premise to me. But I know that dating like everything else differ from country to country. So these women don't want love, they want men's money. That is what the study says.
@reclaimedandrested4 жыл бұрын
Jim Reimers marriage for the majority of human history has been an economic transaction between men and women for the stabilization of civilization. Only recently have people made such an important life decision based largely on superficial feelings of infatuation, lust and their physical attraction to a person which is not only shallow but just plain stupid!
@vickkhosa3104 жыл бұрын
@@reclaimedandrested Yeah, if your definition of love to you is a superficial concept than yes, you're right however, I believe that most other people and especially men have this thing (not universally across the board, however it does seem to be a reoccurring theme attributed to men) called honor. It's a striving for a deeper ideal than the norm, something intangible yet real as anything, its connected to loyalty, commradery, and brotherhood and love for your neighbor and the impulse to stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves, basically all the wonderful, noble and ideal concepts that humans generally consider to be altruistic and of value have been cultivated, nurtured and expanded upon by men out of sheer necessity of survival. I believe a reason for this is in part because of the warrior spirit in men from hunting, to tribal conflict/resolution, diplomacy as well as the harsh realities of full scale war, which force these higher ideals to show themselves as absolute necessity, in stark contrast to the far from ideal situations that bore the need for them. These higher ideals are far from superficial and only a person that doesn't appreciate the value and cost/sacrifice of these higher ideal such as love would so flippantly view them as such.

It's all about the "BAG". Always has been, and always will be. Women say they marry or date for love. Puleeze!! Let that man fall on some hard times. That so called "Love" goes right out the window. She'll be looking to replace him with the quickness. Once you understand female nature, you see women for who they really are. Then you can play the game accordingly if you choose to. Just know that they are NEVER satisfied.

Women want to be treated like men not take on the responsibility of men. Over the years men made more money, but they also SPENT FAR more money to take care of their families. Women want to make more and keep all the money. Women want good paying jobs, but not do the work those good paying jobs entail. Women can do everything a man can do, but the moment they are asked to take on the responsibility of a man they feel like victims. This is the reason people need to stop taking what women say seriously, ESPECIALLY first world women

I was married at 23 years old making 140k annually while my wife made around 60k(which in my eyes is still a comfortable salary) and our relationship was doing very well. She got a promotion and started to make around double what I did and almost immediately divorced me. She could never give a good reason why she wanted to separate, she just said that she didnt feel the same way anymore and that she didnt want to be in a relationship at that time in her life. She went on to date some 40 year old millionaire about a month later lmfao. I dont think all women are the same, but I think many just expect to be supported and spoiled while putting in minimum effort.

Inaccurate. She has to be competent. She can't be an asshole either. I hate woman who think its a competition to see whose the "dominant" one when the man isn't competing. She has to be motivated, attractive, and complement your personality. A woman's list is too long though, I agree with you there. "He can't be a hoe, I want him to be tall and gorgeous but nobody can know him and he has to be a virgin, but also have a lot of woman who want him. He needs to be a sweetheart to me and a thug with tattoos and large muscles who like puppies, but is aggressive during sex and have a deep voice and ..... you get the point
