Yeah in today's society Brains seem to be in short supply. That said I bought the 3 solo Melvins albums when they came out,from an order form I got from Lysol,direct mail order from Boner Records. My point is,I'll buy that, got that WE know whats up!

Seems like I recall...the way Joe tells it, he thought he was a full time member of MELVINS but while he was with them they got signed by Atlantic and were given an advance and then all of the sudden he was just a "hired gun" on bass so Dale and Buzz kept more of the money. However, it seems as Joe has been fired from quite a few other bands over the years so who knows?

So after revisiting this interview after seeing the melvins documentary - I don't get the animosity between buzz and joe.? I mean Buzz doesn't seem like the easiest guy to get along with.. but there is a bit of venom there..

I saw Joe Preston in May 2008 and then in November 2011. 4 years apart but it was the exact same set Not that I complain because both time it was awesome, but Joe is kind of lazy on innovation.
