God sent my husband to my church this summer. He came to church in July and we married in August. We knew each other in college back in 1987 and have had the same circle of friends but never dated. I’ve been saved, single and celibate since 1998. We’re both in our 50’s and never married. I didn’t have to go online or go out to singles events- God sent my husband to where I praise and worship. "sudden marriage"... though there isn't a specific time frame on when to get married but you can't meet someone and date for a month... and marry. That's a BIG redflag and that is one of the reasons the divorce statistics is alarming globally.... people tend to rush marriage as if it's about the ring and the ceremony.... they think the honeymoon is forever and never give themselves the chance to get to know their significant other better.

I believe in sudden marriage. Thank you, Jesus, for preparing me for this moment over the past eight years! I am ready. On October 17, 2024, I met an amazing man of God at a gathering through a friend. We recently decided to become business partners, and it amazes me how much we have in common-it even scares me a little. At first, I didn’t notice him the way he noticed me, but God allowed us to have a two-hour conversation. By the end of that conversation, I knew he was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. In 2022, the Lord revealed to me that I would marry a pastor.
