Hi Shane! I’m just waking up on this side of the planet and before I even have my morning coffee, what a wonderful way to start my day. I’m so happy you did know Xanadu and can appreciate what they did to honor the song. They certainly captured the essence and spirit of it. This also was som firsts for Tori. A full length Olivia cover and playing an instrument. She’s done both in her Short videos. While Dan can almost literally play everything, Tori plays guitars, keyboards and a little drums. Her Beatles Short videos usually showcase the keyboards. Full drums are yet to come. You can often see her drum set in the background of her videos, long and short. I want to correct her surname. It has soft vowels. Hah-Luhb is my best phonetic. No uu sound. Like how John Lennon said Luv. I look forward to that next one. She self produced it as you will see. I have some Tori Christmas songs for the upcoming season. She’s recorded 3 of them, all audio tracks. All delightful including the second best rendition of Merry Christmas, Darling that I’ve ever heard. Also a Jim Wilkas of We’ve Only Just Begun fame, with Tori. He’s hinted that their next collaboration is coming “soon” and I can’t wait. I guess you can say it’s “Close To…” being done. 😊 Have fun with the next one! Joe

Good morning Shane. It is evident that you appreciate the classics. 35 is young when it comes to awareness and loving of the songs from the '50s to the '80s. Voices like this don't come along often these days with no autotune or pitch correction. Just the instruments and the vocals create the artistry.
