The ending of Special Funnel is one of my favorite conclusions to a Thomas story and the outro tune is a large part of it. Always leaves me with the utmost joy and satisfaction.

“Wake up, Caroline! The chase is on!” Train Stops Play has always been an episode I’ve been nostalgic for, mainly due to this theme. It was also the only Stepney episode I saw when I was little (on one of those Children’s Favourites DVDs, funnily enough).

The "Train Stops Play" variant is so satisfying. I love how it's basically a Duck/Stepney mashup, which makes it perfect for "Bowled Out"!

The special funnel one is my favorite as it was a satisfying end for Peter Sam and serves the others right for mocking his loose funnel.

This is one of the most exciting themes I have ever heard in the classic series. It really has a thrill for an adventure. The 'Train Stops Play' version really has more of a chase feel to it 😀.

Ty, man can I just say that I really appreciate you continually recomposing these classic Thomas themes. I especially love when you go though the effort of doing the variants as well. I remember back in the day you wouldn't do something like that. Instead you would try to incorporate elements from each variant and end up making a "definitive" mix. If im not mistaken I swear you said that in video description. Great remaster too btw! Technically speaking didn't you originally do the 'TSP' variant? Also does anyone else associate this theme with Series 4 more than Series 3?

So what’s the difference between season 3’s and season 4’s chase theme, I mean they both sound exactly the same, so did season 4 just reused season 3’s chase theme, or is there actually a difference, I mean I know with the season 4 episode, Special Funnel, the only difference is how the episode ends, but other than that it sounds exactly the same as season 3’s chase theme, so again, is there any difference between season 3’s and season 4’s chase theme or again, did season four just reused season 3’s chase theme?
