The thing? Sue is initially presented as a toxic, evil woman that just wants to get her way one way or another. But as seasons go in, Sue goes from Cartoony Villain to an emotionally complex woman who uses her authority to cover her own insecurities, and a lot of the time she is right about many things, making us realize that maybe Will wasn't as good as he made himself out to be.

What I absolutely love about Sue is she always points out the absurdity of Glee's storylines and dialogue like she's like us, the audience. A lot of what she says are actually true and she's calling it out that's why she's the funniest character in the show.

The epic “kitty cat and punch you in the face” line is actually thanks to national treasure Jane “Sue” Lynch. The writers initially planned for it to end with “… steal away into your home and KILL it!” but she said “No, I won’t say that. I’m PETA.” So they changed it! 😊
