Sophia really made The Penguin for me. I already loved the show but something about her character and her actress' performances completely captivated me and blew me away in a way i didn't exspect. I ended up rooting for sm more than Oz.

8:14 To refine the statement, Oz is the Protagonist (The person the story follows), and Sofia is the antagonist (the thing acting to stop the protagonist from achieving their goals). What I love about fiction like this is that Protagonists and antagonist don't have morality requirements. It's all about perspective.

One small moment people overlook a lot that i think says a lot about their relationship is when she asks oz…what’s hes doing in the house…like a dog 😂 she was extremely privileged, and now she kills kids like oz does and makes orphans its great writing I hope they stick the landing in this show bc they made the mob families in Gotham interesting again!!

i dont think she meant anything by her asking why oz was indoors, it may have been worry. as for gia, sofia was right in that its probably best for her to grow up outside that. selena, sofia, sofias mother, a young girl in a family like that is a disaster waiting to happen. sofia also has more empathy for gia, as seen in ep.7.
