Sugar cookies recipe - No mixer, no chill time

The recipe makes 12 (3in.) cookies
2 cups flour, spooned and leveled
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Drop dough (about 2 Tbp) onto ungreased cookie sheet about 2 in. apart. Flatten slightly with hands, then press into rounds using a flat bottom of a cup dipped in sugar. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 15-18 min. until lightly browned around the edges.
