That's just a rule of thumb and only works with fighters of equal ability. A 6'3" Fury would get absolutely annihilated by Usyk. Fury's height is the only thing that gives him a chance.

Also, why was John saying the camp is going bad he (Tyson) is surrounded by yes men. Then, all of a sudden, he's back in camp? I think up to now, Usyk has fought the better fighters. Tyson Fury’s amateur career was nothing like Usyk’s. In the pros, Tyson did beat Wladimir Klitschko on points though. But Klitschko was near the end of his career, and was it just a bad night at the office for him? We never got the rematch to find out. And while the Wilder fights were exciting, Ortiz had already outboxed Wilder. Sure each time Wilder came back and beat the older guy after the half way mark, but Ortiz seemed to outbox him better than Fury (in 1 &3). And Ortiz lost to Ruiz. Wilder was outboxed again vs Joseph Parker, but didn’t land the equaliser vs the younger man. AJ stopped Klitschko, and Klitschko didn’t want the rematch, & AJ convincingly stopped Wallin and Ngannou too. And Usyk beat AJ twice (as well as beating boxers who beat AJ in the world championships, and European championships as amateurs) . My point is that on paper Usyk seems on a different level. But Tyson is unique, and it is heavyweight boxing. Win or lose the fight, Tyson will still come out a winner, because even if he loses, look how well he did with the hand he was dealt. He has earnt a fortune. And he can afford to roll the dice, because there is also a rematch clause, and Usyk uses a high energy style and is getting close to 40. I wish them both well. If Tyson wins, it will be like a movie script. If Usyk does, then he’ll have achieved pretty much all that can be achieved in the amateurs and pros.
