This is actually one of his last fights at Welterweight and in all actuality he probably was past his prime already here. It took him forever to win the Welterweight title because everybody was scared of him...except for LaMotta and Burley.

Yea, that's a BS story that's been repeated for years. The truth is Robinson was frustrated that he couldn't knock him out. It would be typical for Ray to have a cute response like that.
