How to Make and Apply an Acrylic Skin to your Tumbler

Very cool! I have been wrapping skins completely around a bare tumbler, mod podging it on, then trimming off the top and bottom with an edging tool. Then adding glitter to those top and bottom trimmed areas. But thanks to your video, I’m definitely going to glitter and resin the cup first! It looks so much easier, no mod podge needed, and no loose glitter to deal with. Thank you so much!!

Yes! Definitely use mod podge to apply skin, doesn’t matter if it’s placed on a prepped tumbler or already glittered one.

Yes you want to mix it with a pouring medium or water and glue. There are a few tutorials here on KZbin that will be able to give you more details on that.

Great tutorial! Thank you! I just wanted to also add that if you do a dirty pour with a cup you can get more variety of a design. And even better, you can do a wreck a pour by taking a popsicle stick and running it through your paint before you tilt. I’ve been pouring for a few years now and I NEVER save my paints leftover. This has inspired me!

The paper so used is Freezer paper. Make sure to pour on the shiny side if you do but the mats from dollar tree are great and reusable🥰
