As someone with very thick and corse hair which literally grows back overnight when shaving, I can say sugaring is the best. Because I have thick hair normal waxing leaves me patchy whereas sugaring leaves my legs smooth and for at least 2 weeks (which is better than 24 hours!) I love it!

Why does sugaring pull in the direction and the hair but waxing doesn't?
@alaeddine77972 жыл бұрын
Because waxing sticks to the skin and the hair , but sugaring sticks strongly only to the hair .

Can I go from shaving to sugaring or will the hair be too coarse?
@SugaringNYC2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can! Just wait 3-4 weeks after shaving so that your hair is long enough for the paste to grab onto it. You want your hair to be about the length of a grain of rice! Hope this helps!

Well it from the horn of Africa, sudan, ethiopia and more african people so really Africans were doing it for ages, than arabs now colonialists😊 just like how its new to colonialist nations it was new to arabs once upon a time too.

Xidiga sugaring was started by ancient egyptians
@najma26135 жыл бұрын
@@michelewhatso1381 no, we just have earliest evidence from them. Whom I remind you are a branch of northeast Africans and like other north east Africans shared the same hairstyles, clothing and practices like sugaring. Yes! Absolutely! We just recommend letting your hair grow to 1/8th (about the size of a grain of rice) before you sugar that way the hair is long enough for the sugar to grab!

@@nika9205 of course but then we are no longer taking about the benefit of sugar waxing but of exfoliation in general
@Lia-hd7rh5 жыл бұрын
@@mariusortodoxie7649 to be honest I always wonder why the waxing places can't just exfoliate and prep the skin better and after pluck out whats left. They wax you but you're left later scrubbing yourself in order to not get ingrowns. I think ingrowns should be taken care of in the same place that removes the hair.
@Earth2LalaLand5 жыл бұрын
I think the difference is perhaps, getting in grown hairs because of dry skin, which happens to those who even don't do hair removal, Versus because the waxing process deforming the hair follicle and causing in grown hairs, which can happen to those who don't have dry skin as well. Just my thoughts..
