I live on the opposite side of the country, in Washington state, and I have never seen crab soup in the Northwest made with all these ingredients! Your recipes have never failed me though so I can't wait to try it.

This recipe isn’t for me (your cream of crab soup definitely is 😁) , but I watched all of the way to end because I appreciate your passion for cooking and the research and testing you do. In case anyone is not aware, watching all of the way to the end of a video without fast forwarding increases the “average view duration” or “AVD”. KZbin’s computers use AVD to determine how much they promote videos to non-subscribers, which is essentially free advertising that helps her channel grow. Yeahhhh no. The cheapest I saw was $24 for a pound. And I didn't check to see if there was a shipping charge. It's not even available in my store.

Do you want pieces of tomato in your soup, or can you blend part of the tomatoes so you won't have to break them up?
