Suhr Classic S Paulownia

For those who don't know, Paulownia is what they make surfboards from. It's been called "the aluminum of woods". Guitar sounds great, I like the brightness.

@@kuchisabishiiQT ​ Thank you very much for your reply! I wish I could've read your wall of text, though! I'm almost certain that I'm going to go for it. I was a bit concerned that Paulownia might be soft and easily marked and wondered if the light body might cause neck-dive. I'm guessing you don't have any of those problems.

​@@TripleMoxy9 i read about it and i disagree, knocking on it feels as stiff as all my other maple guitars, if not more so, certainly john suhr wouldnt be so inconsidered building such expensive guitars with "prone to be faulty" wood, id say. its just lighter without any downsides. love the weight btw ill write a recap of my thrice lost wall of text: outstanding craftsmanship, precision, clarity, versatile af dude, this is the only guitar in which i love all 5 positions, blues funk metal classic they all go hard. you hit the strings and the guitar is just telling you with its sound to play more and better and dont ever stop, the only other guitar that gives me that feeling is a Parker Fly Deluxe 1994. i have two Fender CS, several MiM strats, just love the fender clean sound, always have for 15 years but now with the Suhr i realized they do everything better, sound itself is subjective ofc but can just feel how Suhr is just killing it on every aspect of the guitar. Also played the pink Asato Signature and another Classic S with V60LP, both heavenly. I usually play Mateus Aasto, Mayer, SRV n Gojira-esk and have zero trouble dialing in those sounds over either Neural DSP, Boss Katana Artist Mk2, Two-Rock Bloomfield i cant wait to be poor again when i buy my next Suhr's :)
