I have been buying guitars since the 70’s. I have all the usual guitars, PRS, Gibson, Fender etc. I have a couple of Suhrs including this model, the thornbuckers with the 5 position switch are very clean. The stainless steel frets and quality of workmanship are second to none. You get what you pay for. That said , it’s not all the guitar, it’s the amp - and the player. It took me a while to pair the Suhr with an amp as they are so ‘chimey.’ Specially the 3 pickup HSH models. I ended up using a Vox with balanced tung-sol tubes and a single Celestian gold 10. I’m an older guy, so I’ve had quite a few guitars. If you are using a Marshall 100 watt stack, I run two of them in Stereo (wife permitting), the articulation-quality is lost in the mayhem. For recording, these sound amazing with a small amp and articulate speaker.

Same here, I am eyeing a Tagima Grace 700, similar idea but it's a lower end model. Dunno if it's available outside of Brasil, but maybe check it out?

Strat? It's not a Strat knockoff, not even a Tele knockoff, it does much more. And it looks and sounds better than any Tele HH I've ever heard.
